Year End Letter From the Editor 2024

Fellow Texans, the Texas statewide innovation network has come so far now at the end of our second year. In 2024 we:

— Cohosted a 3,000 person innovation event, in nearly 20 venues across the state for the Texas Venture Fest (w/ 1st international location in Mexico thanks to our great partners, Texas State Chamber of Commerce)… simultaneously! We added statewide experience partners, Alvies Boots and Starbase Brewery. Sign up for next year with link above or send us your interest in joining your fellow Texans to cohost in your region.

— Launched state’s first high-end, high-powered innovation gala for 300+ Texans at the Texas Venture Gala & Forum, featuring special guest & longest tenured NASA CEO, the Honorable Dan Goldin, as well as the head of the Texas Governor’s Office, Adriana Cruz— joined by 70 investor speakers. — Grew the first statewide innovation newsletter, the Texas Venture Newsletter to a reach of 9,000. (On pace to reach our goal of nearly 10,000 by early next year!)

— Created the first Texas Venture Voter Guide, and assisted a slate of innovation-minded Texas State Representatives & Senators for the elections.

— Promoted partnerships, new membership collaborations, media mentions… with really great updates to come!
