Texas Venture Voter Guide 2024
This is a list of Texas State elected officials who have supported the Texas innovation community by attending and/or speaking at our sister signature events, the Texas Venture Fest and the Texas Venture Gala & Forum. They’ve also sponsored startup, venture, research & development, and/or technology-related bills, and most have served in the Innovation and Technology Caucus, and have done so much more more our innovation economy.
It’s organized into the following Texas regions: North Texas, Central / Hill Country, Houston Area, South Texas, West Texas, East Texas and “Uncontested” (all Texas candidates running without opposition). We’ve made this easy to find out via city and county you’re in, the candidates you may vote for inside your district. This list isn’t all-inclusive, and if a name or any other information needs to be added or updated below please contact us.
ON THE BALLOT: Below are recommendations specific to Texas State Senators and House of Representatives, but check out what else is on specifically your ballot here. The link also provides more information on how to get to the polls (discounts and complimentary ride options) and what polls are near you.
ELECTION TIPS: When voting on Election Day, November 5, 2024, you must bring a government issues photo ID. You may write down these candidates’ names and bring it with you on a sheet of paper (although no mobile devices are allowed near the polls). Thank you for considering those who support Texas innovation in your vote, and encourage your fellow startups and investors to do the same!
