Professional Biography
One of Donny Ho’s important contributions in the venture community has been the major undertaking of the Texas Venture Directory, a collection of data from 250+ greater venture firms from all over the state. It is the most up-to-date and key resource for startups and investors to get a lay-of-the-land in the fast-changing venture scene in the region.
He was also an intern at the Austin Venture Association helping with events such as the Venture Boat Cruise, and the Venture Hotel. AVA had 650+ founders, investors, and others from the startup community. He is also a member of the 2nd Cohort of the Bridge Venture Fellowship. He’s currently at Tech Ranch Austin assisting international start-ups as a business development and operations intern.
Donny also continually helps connect startup founders to investors as well as key ecosystem partners, not only in his role at TVA but in his spare time. When not working, he enjoys competing for powerlifting, playing golf or pickleball, and discovering new places to eat around Austin. He's involved in Kappa Sigma and competes on the Men’s Powerlifting Team at the University of Texas.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Donny is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin currently pursuing a degree in Finance. He is interested in exploring different career paths in the buy-side of finance.
