Recap: Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association on a Texas Venture Visit
The Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association partnered with the Texas Venture Alliance for their March 2023 venture tour to include Austin and Dallas. This led up to the delegation’s trip to Silicon Valley at the very end.
Visiting three cities in just three days, each business luncheon they threw helped convene local PE & VC professionals as they shared why Luxembourg is the go to place to fundraise from European investors.
LPEVCA in Austin
Experiences Committee Chair and Builders & Backers’ Director of Global Brand Growth, Marisa Vickers, helped advise the delegation of their visit and provided a warm welcome in Austin. The Texas Venture Alliance also helped to promote LPEVCA’s Dallas event via the Texas Venture newsletter.
Marisa said: “Thank you so much to Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association for allowing me to speak about Builders + Backers and the greater venture Texas ecosystem at the luncheon. It was truly a pleasure getting to learn more about Luxembourg's investment landscape as well as meet the Luxembourg delegation.”
The LPEVCA’s Chief Operating Officer, Luis Galveias, shared his picture below mentioning: “Full room today in Dallas for another meet and greet, sharing the event with local private equity and venture capital professionals. Fund distribution in Europe on top of the agenda.”
