This is a general overview of the Austin Venture Fest (a Texas Venture Alliance initiative), and a few summaries of the 20+ events with 20+ cohosts across the first two weeks of October 2023. View pictures and other information below such as the marquee event, Austin Venture Crawl, which became the largest venture gathering in Texas’ history.

*MassChallenge & Texas Venture Alliance’s Investor Night*

Capital & Capitol Mixer, 10/4/22: This first mixer of it’s kind convened over 50 people throughout the evening at the historic Cloak Room, on the Texas Capitol Grounds. Read more.

Venture Workout, 10/4/22: Austin’s startup and venture communities combined working out and networking with this yoga session, all levels welcome. Lots of local CPG companies were featured.

Austin Venture Crawl, 10/6/22: The Austin Venture Crawl was the largest venture event in Texas history, held simultaneously across 5 downtown Austin locations with 1,300+ people, and 3 shuttle stops. We also hosted a “Secret Chief of Staffs Meetup” inside the TriNet location of the Venture Crawl. More details here.

Vino & Venture, 10/11/22: BridgeBank partnered with us to plan a wine tasting happy hour with 50 venture friends and select startup founders. There was great vino hosted at a local business, and we dusted up on our grape education. Read more here.

Investor Night, 10/12/22: This Mass Challenge & Texas Venture Alliance partnership for the “Investor Night” gave Austin investors a first chance to meet selected startups within the MassChallenge program, as they toured their cohort around Texas. Read more.

LPs Networking Event, 10/13/22: Several private evening events such as invite-only dinners, happy hours, etc, occurred with the following: family offices, successful entrepreneurs with at least one exit, pension funds, university endowment funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, and high net worth individuals.
