Texas Pebble Fund
Texas Venture Alliance and Builders + Backers is excited to announce they have partnered together to launch the Texas Pebble Fund.
This fund will truly be the beginning of a community wide effort where we invite cities, counties, corporations, foundations or individuals to make a 100% tax deductible charitable donation. Through this donation, we can enable hundreds of new entrepreneurs and their ideas to get their start, catalyzing greater economic activity across the state of Texas and developing a larger pipeline of investable companies in every corner of the state.
Builders + Backers empowers aspiring entrepreneurs to realize their dreams through our free "universal onramp" program. This enables anyone and anywhere with any entrepreneurial idea to learn how to put it into action using modern and highly effective methods. From high-tech global-scale startups to impact ventures, main street companies, nonprofits and everything in between, our proven programs are highly effective at getting novel ideas off the ground.
Builders + Backers approach involves providing aspiring entrepreneurs non-dilutive Pebble Funds, which cover the expenses associated with exploring and implementing ideas through practical, low-fidelity experimentation. This is so important as lack of resources can often be a major barrier to getting started as a new entrepreneur.
