Professional Biography
Jacob Timony is a seasoned Business Development professional in the CPG industry and owner/operator of Mercenary Holdings, of which he is the Managing Director. Residing in Austin Texas, Jacob hails from Boston, MA and has earned a BA of Science from the Southern Cal located, University of Redlands, a private liberal arts school with strong credentials in Business Administration.
With a background in live entertainment Jacob began his career working for the largest sports and live entertainment conglomerate in the world, AEG, where his focus was subject to Corporate Sponsorships and Business Development. Apart of his journey at AEG Jacob was an integral team member of the first sports business development department in company history, leading the team to consecutive years of financial growth in the business to business sector, awarding him accolades as the highest generator of sales revenue in his class.
In 2019 Jacob was presented an attractive opportunity to make a significant career change and join a new sub-division of Molson Coors in Southern California focused on incubating Non-Alc Beverage Brands throughout the region, jumpstarting his tenure in the CPG industry. Following a series of career advancing roles with the org, eventualizing in his final position as EVP of the company, Jacob departed the Coors owned subsidiary in early 2022 to start his own practice, focused on Food & Beverage development from soup to nuts.
Jacob now acts as Managing Director of three company's he has founded that focus on investing and scaling smaller stage CPG brands in the early stages of market-growth and development.
