Professional Biography

Anita Roberts is Managing Director of Silicon Hills Capital a venture fund that invests in women and underrepresented founders seeking pre-seed, seed level or series A financing. Our mission is to bridge the gap to venture capital for women founders building scalable, growth aggressive companies.

Anita is also a founding partner of MVMT Inc., a venture studio and venture fund creating accessible technologies, empowering millions of people to live healthier, happier, and more productive lives.

Retired army officer and combat veteran, Anita served as a logistics & public relations officer, achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and served on the first black POTUS' inaugural public relations team.

Anita is also a proud HBCU alum, from Prairie View A&M University and holds degrees and certificates from University of South Alabama and Haas Berkeley School of Business..

Anita's nonprofit, Made Media Group, empowers and educates African American business owners to build sustainable wealth, promote the preservation of cultural relevancy and uplift the community through economic equity.

She is also the first woman in Texas to create a venture fund for Black women which landed her on the inaugural Forbes 50 Over 50 Women.
